5/19 - Onboard The X-Ang (6)

• Punks enter bridge––a sizeable semicircle-esque room with large glass(?) windows showing colorful nebulae in space’s abyss. 
• As with Area 5, room is not very slimy. 
• In the center, sitting in an ultra-modern captain’s chair, is a big purple brain suspended by the slime. Flanking the brain are two Slime Spider/X-Ang Crew Hybrids (MT - ST) piloting the X-Ang. 
• On the Punks’ arrival, the brain whirls around and addresses the party in a glitchy staccato voice, “Yuki! You’ve finally come to free me! It’s been so long. Did you forget about me? Are these your new friends?” The brain continues about their time on the X-Ang regarding imprisonment, experimentation, and other heinous acts Lobofexx and her scientists performed on them. Their tone turns joyously sinister and dark, explaining how the sentient slime invaded the ship after colliding with an asteroid. All the X-Ang’s crew, including the Culchazz, are long dead––but the slimes felt pity for the brain and kept it alive. Surprisingly, the brain and the slimes merged into a formidable force––consuming all in their path and inheriting their abilities, including majick. Now they roam the galaxy looking for others to absorb into their consciousness. 
• After their exposition, the brain launches into their attack––sending the 2 Hybrids first. The brain attacks after their defeat. 
• Yuki’s Corrupted AI Brain (MT - P)
  • Remains stationary in captain’s chair. 
  • Sprouts a single giant yellow eye in the frontal lobe––Kirby crackles blue before shooting a powerful energy beam. 
  • Knows 3 spells––DG’s choice. 
• On brain’s defeat, it regrets its actions as Yuki “cleans” it before absorbing it into her head. More of Yuki’s holo-form becomes tangible. 4 of 6 AI brains are now acquired.
