5/6 - Onboard The X-Ang (7)

  • Open with Blue Energy Band or CS INTL CHECK hack.
  • Control room of blinking lights and computer terminals.
  • Lone crew corpse sits in central chair with NVS deck attached to their skull. Wires from cyber-helm attach to the ceiling. 
  • Yuki determines this was an X-ANG hacker monitoring and guarding her brain. 
  • Any attempt to move or tamper with the hacker jolts the dead thing back to life. A virus reanimates it, and although stationary, multiple ranged electric prods spring from hacker’s chair. 
  • X-ANG Hacker - (MT - ST) - 2 attacks/CR with electric prods. 
    • Can only be defeated by removing cyber-helm––physically (CS VIG CHECK) or majickally.
    • If helm isn’t removed will always retain at least 1 VIG HP
    • Any party member attempting to wear helm must make CS INTL CHECK or suffer 3d8 psychic DMG. If they survive, permanent -2 INTL STAT from the raw cosmic horror exposure. Yuki warns against wearing helm. 
  • Metal door to NE. Opens with Blue Energy Band or CS INTL CHECK hack.
