1/15 - The Dank Stairs

  • Before entering stairwell, Punks feel warm breeze blowing from the depths.
  • 100 ft. descent. 
  • Stairs: Rough, gritty obsidian. Walls/Ceiling: Smooth obsidian, densely covered in phosphorescent vegetation and mushrooms. Mushrooms pulse purples/greens to light descent––giving off hazy atmosphere. Mushrooms cause mutations if eaten.
  • Mushroom Mutation Table /Roll 1d4/ Mutations only cured by successful Astral Marker activation. 
    • 1 - Develop green nictitating membranes over purple eyes. Gain night vision
    • 2 - Sprout same mushrooms over face/head. Harmful if consumed by others (VIG STAT CHECK or 1d8 VIG HP DMG). Grow back if removed. -3 all SOC STAT CHECKS. 
    • 3 - Elongated spiked tongue. Additional attack. 1d4 VIG HP lash damage. -1 all SPELL CHECKS. 
    • 4 - Body becomes jelly, retains Punk’s semblance. Absorbs 5 VIG HP DMG. -5 SOC STAT CHECK due to hideous appearance.
